How to Bid at a Hess Auctioneers, LLC. Auction

If you are tax exempt, please download, complete, and fax or email the form to the office prior to the auction.

You must register to bid online at least 2 days prior to the sale to guarantee approval. You will be able to see our online catalog 1-2 days prior to an auction. Notice that each of our auctions typically has 3 Rings (Ring #1: Sleepers, Daycabs, Dumps, Straight Trucks, Pickups, Vans, Cars, Ring #2: Construction and Material Handling Equipment, Landscape Stones, ATVs, etc. and Ring #3: RVs, Trailers: Reefers, Vans, Walking Floors, Flatbeds, Dumps, Storage trailers and containers. Log onto Equipment Facts or Proxibid the day of the auction and follow the instructions. There is a 2% online bidding fee for either platform.
When bidding online thru Equipment Facts, Proxibid or Hibid at one of our auctions, please be sure to read all the Terms and Conditions listed. This includes payment options, pickup times, title information, fees related to bidding, and any other information and is the Bidder’s responsibility to comply with all terms and conditions. A credit card may be required by these third party bidding platforms to register for the auction and a temporary hold may be placed on your account. This “hold” may be processed as a payment towards a winning bid if payment is not made within the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement. By paying Auctioneer with a credit card, Buyers waive their right to issue a charge-back against Auctioneer. The hold will be released by the Bidder’s banking institution after approximately seven days if payment in full has been made based on the terms and conditions listed. By participating in our auction, Bidder/buyer agrees to Pennsylvania Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction in Pennsylvania for any and all disputes.
If you cannot be at our auction in person, we encourage you to register to bid online through www.EquipmentmentFacts.com where you can watch the auction in full video and audio, or www.proxibid.com and make your bids securely and accurately. If you do not have access to this online option, you may submit your maximum bid via our Absentee Bidding program. Only Items in Ring 1 and 3 can have Absentee Bids. There is a minimum bid of $1000, and there is a 2% absentee bidding fee. Please complete and submit this Absentee Bidder Form at least 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. This form must be approved. By participating in our auction, Bidder/buyer agrees to Pennsylvania Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction in Pennsylvania for any and all disputes.
