Over the last few years we have all enjoyed going to different auctions and watching what works and what doesn't make an auction efficient. If you get the correct equipment to your sale and market it properly all parties involved will have a better chance of leaving “satisfied with the results”. We spent a lot of time discussing our ideas and one day we decided “Hey, with our expertise in different areas and our network of friends and industry contacts we can run an efficient auction company.”

On June 1st, 2007 Hess Auctioneers, LLC was born and we were excited to schedule our 1st auction November 14, 2007. We know that there is a need for this type of consignment auction in the Mid Atlantic region. We have the perfect location that will allow customers to bring their equipment to our site up to a full month before the scheduled sale, for inspection by others in a fenced in secure area on a concrete pad.This first auction featured many quality vehicles and drew bidders from several states.

In April 2008, we held a sale partnering with Kyle Ingham. We had a lot of equipment consigned, all sizes, plus thousands of small items sold individually or in lots. A second Ingham Equipment Auction was held in April 2009 and hundreds of attenders came out to bid on equipment, parts, tools, and more despite a gloomy spring day.

In September 2008, we welcomed our new General Manager, Bill Troop. We are all excited to see where God is leading us in this new journey together. We are very pleased with the success of our past auctions. Together, we've had our first On-Site Fleet Dispersal, in November of 2009, along with "specialty" auctions, such as our September 2009 Trucks and Toys Auction.
